Adam Montgomery

Adam is on trial for killing his 5 year old daughter Harmony by beating her with his closed fist. He hid the body and tried to tamper with his wifes testimony.

His charges are:

1. 2nd Degree Assault. Adam knowingly caused bodily injury to Harmony,a child under the age of 13, by striking her in the face.

2. 2nd Degree Murder. Adam wrecklessly caused the death of Harmony, a person under 13 yrs of age, under circumstances manifesting in the extreme indifference to the value of life by repeatedly striking Harmony on the head with a closed fist.

3. Falsifying Physical Evidence. Knowing an investigation was looming did purposely alter, destroy, conceal or removed the body of Harmony with the purpose to impair availability for said investigation.

4. Abuse of a Corpse. That the defendant did purposely and unlawfully removed, concealed, destroyed the corpse of Harmony or any part there of. 5. Tampering With Witnesses or Informants. Adam believing that official proceedings were coming, investigation was coming, did purposely attempt to induce or otherwise cause Kayla Montgomery to testify or inform falsely.

His wife, Stepmother to Harmony, has not been charged with the death, but was charged with perjury to the grand jury. She did a plea deal which includes testifying in this trial. She is who broke the case by telling authorities what Adam did. Here's an article on it:

Kayla Montgomery

Trial is to take 6 wks supposedly. I look forward to hearing all the facts!

Jennifer Crumbly Found Guilty!

The jury forewoman said the main thing for the verdict was the fact she was the last adult to have the gun in her hands. What took so long to announce this then? She said both sides were equally represented. I myself felt she was as she admitted to being the one that was responsible to hide the ammunition that was used in the shooting. She took him to the shooting range. she knew of the gun and never told the school.

The school is being sued civally. It's the way it should be. While they didn't search the bag they had in their control, they had no reason to believe he had a gun, let alone that he had it on campus to be able to have probable cause to search the bag. Given all they knew of him though and that drawing would cause most to decide they needed to call the police to search him, his belongings, and his locker over abundance of caution given todays environment.

James is up next in March.

Jennifer Crumbley Trial

This is the trial based on Jennifers son Ethan bringing a gun that his parents bought him 4 days prior to school and killed 4 people. The parents were called into the school the morning of the incident to discuss drawings he had been doing and disturbing internet searches. The parents were advised he should go to a psychologist ASAP. The parents decided that work was more important than the lives of Madisyn Baldwin, Tate Myre, Hana St. Juliana, and Justin Shilling. Below I detail out what the counts are and how they are to find beyond a reasonable doubt.

Count 1- caused the death of Madisyn Baldwin

Count 2- caused the death of Tate Myre

Count 3- caused the death of Hana St. Juliana

Count 4- caused the death of Justin Shilling

Theory 1: Storing a firearm and ammunition and allowed access to the firearm and ammunition to their minor child.

1. Must find beynd a reasonable doubt that the 4 deathes were natural or necessary result of the defendants act.

2. Must find beyond a reasonable doubt that the deaths were due to the defendants gross negiglence manner.

Gross negligent manner means more than carelessness. Willfully disregarding results of others that might follow from an act or failure to act.

To find her grossely negligent you must find the 3 following things beyond reasonable doubt:

1. defendant knew of the danger to another. That is she knew of a situation that required her to take ordinary care to avoid injuring another.

2. defendant could have avoided injury to another by using ordinary care.

3. defendant failed to use ordinary care to prevent injury to another when, to a reasonable person it must have been apparent that the result was likely to be serious injury.

Theory 2:Gross negligency and failure to perform a legal duty

Must prove the following elements beyond a reasonable doubt:

1. The defendant had a legal duty to Madisyn Baldwin, Tate Myre, Hana St. Juliana, and Justin Shilling. In this a parent has a legal duty to exercise reasonable care to prevent a minor child from intentionally harming others or to prevent the minor child to conduct themselves in a way that creates an unreasonable risk of harm to others. If a parent knows that they have the ability to control their minor child and knows of the necessity and opportunity for exercising such control.

2. That the defendant knew of the act facts that gave rise to the duty.

3. That the defendant willfully neglected or refused to perform that duty and her failure to perform was grossly negligent to human life.

4. That the death of Madisyn Baldwin, Tate Myre, Hana St. Juliana, and Justin Shilling were directly caused by the defendants failure to do this duty and that Madisyn Baldwin, Tate Myre, Hana St. Juliana, and Justin Shilling died as a result of the defendants failure to exercise reasonable care to control the minor child as to prevent him from intentionally harming others or from so conducting themself so as to create an unreasonable risk of bodily harm to others knowing that she has the ability to control her child, knowing of the necessity and opportunity to do so.

You must find beyond a reasonable doubt that the deaths were the natural or necessary result of the defendants act. I have waited for these trials. Its about time parents were held accountable when they bought the guns. Let alone, these parents felt after having been told of their sons depraved mind that work was more important.

Brian Laundrie / Gabby Petito Case

So I’m doing this blog post to put all information I currently have on this case all in one place for you to understand better:

First I have a timeline of everything to date:

Information from FBI:

FBI News Conference

Message from Laundries:

Here’s an article with all videos from yesterday and pictures:

Now, after the attorney said nothing would be said until the results came in went and did an interview junket:

Now, my thoughts:

1. They should not have been searching alone.
2. Where remains were found was 1 mile from where Mustang was left
3. They went directly to where he was found.
4. The Laundries in the past were escorted around by LE but not yesterday after the reserve was opened to the public.
5. The fugitive the week before was 18ft from where this was all found.
6. The Laundries should be charged with tampering with evidence, tampering with a crime scene, false police reporting, accessory after the fact, harboring a fugitive to name a few.
7. Do I think they will be charged with anything? Doubtful.
8. The notebook found will be very telling. I just worry since the Laundries had 30 minutes without LE that they pulled relevant stuff out.
9. I wonder if they will continue to look into the other dead people found where Laundrie was known to be at the time.
10. This whole case from the beginning has been a shit show.
11. It is possible he was murdered
12. Remember the Laundries were afraid he would harm himself.
13. I don’t believe in coincidences
14. Stop giving Dog or John Walsh ( his daughter has come forward with interesting information on him that shocked me and would you as well!) a platform to pitch their shows

FYI while it’s horrid how this ended, there’s no need to yell justice for Gabby at the FBI news conference. Any yellers etc. leave it now to the authorities to deal with the Laundries. Don’t forget, they are parents too that may have just lost their child. Have some decency and back off for a bit. Doesn’t matter how it came about. Wait for the authorities to give updates people.

Let me know your thoughts! Thanks for stopping by!

Wrongly Convicted

Too many times now I've been involved in situations where I've gotten misunderstood and it's gotten me shut out of places I really enjoyed. I've been labeled now a troll on sites when I'm anything but. I got roped in with a group of people several years ago when I posted -1- word in a chat room. how the hell does that make me a troll? I've tried everything under the sun to prove otherwise but it's on deaf ears it appears. Where the fuck am I supposed to be allowed to chat about trial stuff if I've been booted due to the fact I did a stunt for a different trial site and people wouldn't stop bringing it up (not me I kept trying to stop them) or assumed to be a troll for something I wasn't a part of? I'm trying to find an outlet especially since they've told me to take a flying leap (which I'm sure the sites owner wouldn't appreciate.) but no such luck thus far. I hope those being so rude and baiting me realize it is becoming something you can do something about legally so you'd think they would be a bit smarter but I then look at who's posting these threats and rude comments and realize moot point.

I think Ann Rule may have been onto something when she told me to find people my own educational level etc. She was putting down her fans to an extent, but she was also giving me some wise advice that I could be doing so much more with my college knowledge.

So frustrating! I know how those that are wrongly convicted truly feel. I am considering all options and holding those accountable for their words isn't beyond my thinking.

Slenderman Verdict #1

So we have the verdict for Anissa Weier. At around Midnight my time last night the acceptable to the judge verdict was finally read into the record. She was found Guilty by Reason of Insanity at the time of the act. What this means is that the deal she accepted prior to this phase of the case goes into affect. The deal reached was that she will be placed into an institution until her 18th birthday (approximately 3 years) and then supervision following that.

If I had to wager a guess, I'd say that when she gets out, she will be either restricted from certain areas of the web or not able to use the web due to the nature of her crime etc. I know most things in 3 years will revolve around the interwebs etc. but she will have to rely on others to do things for her etc. I suppose.

This is only my humble opinion so don't ding me on it or hang me on it. I don't believe she was insane at the time or has at anytime shown signs of schitzo disorders. She's shown signs certainly of anxiety and ptsd from the incident. The singing while in the interview any child her age will do when scared without their parents around and or bored to try and fill blank space.

While it's true she told her friend to stab the victim, I believe it's because she knew it was wrong and wanted to be able to keep her hands clean of that. She also had begged for them to put the incident off several times and the other girl said no. Anissa was a follower. She was extremely bright which is why she was in the flight program.

All of the adults around her said they noticed nothing out of the ordinary of Anissa and that she would even say something if something was amiss with other kids... except her friend. Sbe was accepted by her friend unlike most others. She didn't want to lose that.

She said right off the bat she realized she was in danger as soon as the stabbing started. She told her to continue stabbing because she knew they were in trouble and didn't want them to have a witness to get them in trouble in the hopes they could get away with it. Her 12 year old mind hadn't thought everything out, however, she did know it was wrong to do what they were doing.

I want to bring this back to what it's really about though, Payton Leutner. This poor girl was stabbed over and over exclaiming she would never forgive them and they left her saying they were going to get her help. Well, in the wake of the verdict, her family released a photo of her saying the verdict was deeply disappointing. Please keep this girl in your minds.

Holly Bobo Trial

So for those playing along with me, I tend to pick and chose the trials I follow. This case I've been following from the getgo. Opening statements started very slowly this morning and Holly's dad and boyfriend were the first ones on the stand. So sad to hear that they had done a promise ring! I hope whomever does the closing argument for the state is better than the one that did the opening cause he was putting people to sleep.

What's frustrating is I finally caught up on all my tv from watching and live tweeting the colorado theater shooter trial 2 summers ago and now I have 2 big ones starting. AGH!  So you will see me in the chat rooms on #WAT aka for both this case and the #Slenderman trial as it gets underway after the jury is chosen.

I will also be tweeting as much as I can to keep those who can't watch or listen due to work up to date as much as I can or retweeting someone that I know is in the courtroom tweeting live for you.

Go do something nice for someone else to make them smile :)

Manchester Bombing

What You Should Be Reading and Posting Instead of Giving Credence to THEM:

Don't post horrid pictures from the few seconds after such a great fun concert for so many kids. Don't post the one who did its name... it glorifies him to his group. Posting the videos and pictures elates them and shows our reactions and helps them plan for the next ones! Don't give them that satisfaction and information!

Instead, post the photos of the beautiful people that attended and will forever be at an Ariana Concert. Remind those affected by this not to harp on the mere moments after the lights came on at the end of the concert, but rather, the awesome time they had singing with Ariana Grande all night! Ask them what songs she sang, what she wore, etc. retrain their minds to remember that part of the night and not the few moments at the end.

For those performers considering canceling your shows out of fear this might happen again, if you do that, they win! We can't walk around in fear our whole lives that someone might have something they might do or we would never leave our homes. What does this teach those kids that were in that concert that night in Manchester? We need to continue on as if it didn't get to us with beefed up security measures to show the kids it is ok. If we don't, those kids will get the idea that there are bad guys everywhere and we shouldn't leave the house. Don't let THEM win!

I want to praise and thank all of the people from the first responders, to the random people in the venue, the woman at the hotel that took like 50 kids in for safety so parents had a place to g get them, to 33 year old Chris Parker who was minding his business begging for money as he's homeless. He immediately stepped up to help the wounded and had a woman die in his arms. Someone should help him get back on his feet for all he did without being asked!

After the jump i'll have pictures and info of the lost I have thus far. This has happened before and unless we are clairvoyant it will most probably happen again. But, what we as bloggers and journalists can do is not glorify it by naming suspects, posting their pictures, posting pictures of their acts etc. The less we do it, they will start to realize they mean nothing to us and we will not glorify their stunts and will stop. I can hope anyway....

Aaron Minor, Age 3

A 3 year old little boy lost his life because of cracks in a system. He lived with his mother, who apparently is mentally not able to care for the boy. According to records, CPS worker Elaine Brown went to check on Aaron the day after receiving a notice the mom wasn't taking her medications. She followed up the next day noting that Aaron appeared fine, not abused, nor neglected.

About a month later Aarons body was discovered by a maintenance worker due to the smell. Mom was found in the hospital the following day. 9 days prior, she'd been found unconscious on the grass outside and hospitalized for two days. CPS never saw the mother or child again, but sent a letter on May 9 asking the mother to contact them. But, she never did and there was no other follow up.

I bring this case to you because Ms. Brown and her supervisor Kelly Williams had been charged with involuntary manslaughter, child abuse, willfull neglect of duty, and other charges. The manslaughter charges got dropped today because its silly to think they could forsee his mother going into the hospital etc.

This case is like a puzzle with many pieces. You have DCF, you have the police who responded when she was found unresponsive, you have whomever removed her and hospitalized her, etc. All had crucial pieces of the puzzle but weren't working together. Why wasn't Aaron placed in foster care when she was found unresponsive or a family member contacted? It is a sad case, but the one person bearing responsibility for the welfare of Aaron is his mother, who's mentally incompetent to stand trial on her charges. There should be things triggered when a single parent is taken away by ambulance. Why this didn't happen for poor little Aaron? Who knows. Hopefully DCF, the police, and first responders can get a group together to start working on new policies and procedures so that they don't have this happen again.

Justin Ross Harris- GUILTY all -8- counts!

That is the one and only time you will see me type that mans name out. From now on I will use JRH. The jury took 4 days and 20 hours. They told the prosecutors the decision was almost unanimous to begin with, "the evidence stared at them in the face and they couldn't ignore it." They felt the case was solid, but wanted to do due diligence. The reason for watching the lunch time video? To see which hand he used to open the car! here's the breakdown of the verdict and possible sentences:

Count 1 (malice murder) guilty, life

Count 2 (felony murder) guilty, life

Count 3 (felony murder) guilty, life

Count 4 (cruelty to a child in 1st degree) guilty, life

Count 5 (cruelty to a child in 2nd degree) guilty, life

Count 6 ( criminal attempt) guilty 12 months, $5,000

Count 7 (dissemination of harmful materials 2 minor) guilty 12 months, $5,000

Count 8 (dissemination of harmful materials 2 minor including pix of sex organ) guilty 12 mo, $5,000

His sentencing will take place December 5, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. in Cobb County. You can watch it streamed via wildabouttrial.com, or 11 Alive. I'm putting a statement by Leanna Taylor after the jump because it is long but well worth the read. Finally someone speaks for Cooper. A few words from me too.

SERIOUSLY?

A caretaker is trying to work with an autistic patient who got away from the treatment facility they were at and got shot for it! He was on the ground with his hands in the air yelling to the police that he was an unarmed guy and what the situation was. He told them the autistic boy had a toy truck in his hand and that was all. He kept repeating all of this while lying on his back arms in the air and trying to also communicate with his patient.

I do have to say, thank god it was just in the leg and he's still alive. When he asked the cop why he shot him the cop said he didn't know why. WTF?  I think all current officers in the USA .need to watch a few of the Cops marathons they have on spike, epic, and a few other channels some every Saturday. They could learn how it was done before all these senseless cop involved shootings.

There was no reason for this shooting and that officer should lose his badge. Here's a link to a full article and video on it. Thoughts?

Better Options??

7 Lives.....

I have sat here and watched all the videos that have been released on the recent police involved shootings and if there wasn't video I read up on the case as much as I could. Why has it come to reaching for a gun first these days and not a taser to get someone to comply?

I'm one of these people who's watched COPS since its inception, and I have to say, why do they do it so right and not represent the way the nation should do it? They VERY rarely use their guns and if they do it is to disable the person not to kill them. WTF?

The 7 I say they could have done with tazer instead of deadly force? They are:

Dylan Noble, 19 - Fresno, CA 6/25/2016
Melissa Ventura, 24 - Yuma, AZ 7/5/2016
Alton Sterling, 37 - Baton Rouge, LA 7/5/2016
Philandro Castile, 32 - Falcon Heights, MN 7/6/2016
Abraham Smith, 30 - Tuscon, AZ 7/8/2016
Alva Braziel, 38 - South Houston, TX 7/9/2016
Donald Meyers, 32 - Flagstaff, AZ 7/13/2016

Everyone talks about profiling etc., well, if you look at that list, that's correct, they are profiling people in their 30s these days. This list did not include 4 other shootings for obvious reasons and those are:

Bristol, TN shooting 7/7/2016
Dallas, TX shooting 7/7/2016
Ballwin, Missouri ambush shooting 7/8/2016
Valdosta, GA ambush shooting 7/8/2016

Something has got to change! Non leathal has got to be a police officers first instinct especially after the Bart incident years ago where he confused the tazer and gun and killed someone by accident. The gun should stay in the car and you have to think and take the time to get it.

Those against the police, if you, continue to be angry at the entire system, we will lose the good ones who are protecting our lives. The more you hurt or kill the less we have on the street to help fight off people like the Dallas sniper etc. FYI, Dallas is asking those who are marching to stop in and fill out applications as they really need help.

No civilian needs to build a cache of ammo nor do they need a gun not even used by the police department. While it would be nice, we have come to an era where we can't do that anymore. Please everyone can't we all just get along???

9 officer involved shootings b/w 7/5/2016 & 7/9/2016

Is this our new America? Is this what my nieces and their kids etc. are looking forward to? I'm outraged at not only the incidents, but by the mere fact not all of them are making main stream media coverage! So I tell you what, I'll report about them all in one post after the jump. I'll give you some sage advice first.

Getting Pulled Over:

  • If you are being pulled over, you have the right to continue to drive to a place you feel safe to stop within reason. Put your hazard lights on so the officer understands this is what you are doing. Everyone in the car remain calm, no sudden movements and hands in clear view at all times.
  • Call 911 & verify this is indeed a true traffic stop. Once verified, if you have a license to carry and a weapon in the vehicle, please relay that to the 911 operator so she can let the officer know before you stop.
  • Pull over and continue to remain calm with all hands in plain sight. Listen to their directions and let them detain you as its for your safety and theirs until they have the gun secured. If no one resists, the firearm is safe, etc. the traffic stop should go easily telling why you were pulled over etc.
  • If you're driving, and you carry your wallet in a back pocket, pull it out and put it on the center console while you drive. This will alleviate reaching under you and unnecessary scrutiny.
Tape This to Your Steering Wheel:
  • Call 911 to verify, tell where you are planning to stop (put hazard lights on)
  • Tell them there's a gun and you have permit to carry
  • When those blue lights go on, everyone's hands stay in plain sight and everyone stays still.
  • Don't resist detention, as its for your safety as much as theirs.
And now onto the 9 shooting reports after the jump!

"Homeless"

Yesterday was an anniversary of the Kingdome implosion which they continued to pay for for several years after the implosion and apparently the money went to the arts.

What gets me is when Atlanta wanted the 1996 Olympics, they bussed all the Homless and low income out to the burbs or out of state and made those houses part of the Olympic Village. When the Olympics were gone, those people weren't able to come back because the rates for their houses were now well out of their range. This is why you saw no homeless or low income people during the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympics.

Did you also know that all the 4 yes colleges in the state got upgraded to university status for the Olympic hullabaloo? Don't believe me? I was accepted to West George College and Kennesaw State in 1994. I went to WGC with my sister whom eventually graduated from that school and her diploma says State University at West Georgia. Kennesaw State is now Kennesaw State University.

Just after I moved into downtown Seattle I knew all too well about the homeless population and situation. We had peeps sleeping in doorways, in tents under bridges, on benches, in the raised tree/ flower beds, etc.

There were shelters. The time period I'm speaking about is the late 90's early 2000's. The shelters were there but not available during the days so peeps would use the library, etc. since you would get an hour and a half free internet access and they knew the trick to get around that time limit. So they could stay all day until closing as long as they didn't fall asleep. They were able to stay warm, cool, and dry when needed.

Then Seattle did an ordinance where you could no longer sit/lay on the sidewalks or raised landscaped areas. To drive the point home so to speak, they attached metal spikes to the edges of the raised landscaped things to deter people from sitting/laying on them.

Then came the infamous 6.8 earthquake in Feb. 2001 which shut down at least 2 of the shelters due to being unsafe. It took, them over a decade to do something to help the homeless help themselves with living arrangements.

I personally worked with a company for several years in downtown Seattle that was partnered with many agencies in the city to help the homes, low income, and those fresh out of jail to get back on their feet. But, when the housing isn't there, we couldn't help them.

Being homeless is not completely the individuals fault/choice/decision. Try talking to some and find out their situation and thepossible opportunities/amenities open/available to them in the situation.

Judge least you have been in their situation or have been there to help!

Theater Shooting Trial- Interesting Pictures

Ok, so most of the time he sits there twisting back and forth... and people just because he does that doesn't make him autistic. Don't you DARE mislabel him and other shooters and make fodder of true autistic kids when you do that. He's bored so he's doing that. He knows what's going on. He's paying attention. You want to know how I know? Most of y'all aren't watching him like a hawk apparently like I am. I have ADD and take my meds so I can sit and stay stuck on one think for hours on end. So, check after the jump and I'll show you a number of photos with the proof he's not insane, he is fully competent, knows exactly what is going on, and is one of those that should be killed because he is diabolical and no one sees it.  He's playing everyone very well. Wow is he ever.

Jason Young Update

He was granted a new trial due to the testimony on the civil case judgement as well as similar testimony regarding a custody lawsuit involving the Young's daughter Cassidy "severely impeded" Jason Young's ability to receive a fair trial.

It has also be granted on the fact that Judge Stephens instructions "did not explicitly prohibit" them from using the civil cases "as proof of defendant's guilt in the criminal case."

The most recent movement on the case was on 08/20/2014 where the Supreme Court ruled the state can appeal the ruling granting the new trial.

You can always find updates on wral.com
